Brookfield Real Estate is a western Suburb of Chicago. Median household income is roughly $52,600 with a total population of about 19,000. This quiet tree-lined neighborhood sits on 3.07 square miles. There are awesome historical buildings nearby surrounding the Village of Brookfield. It is most likely the most visited neighborhood as it is home to the famous Brookfield Zoo. The zoo originally opened to the public in 1934 and has regenerated itself a number of times. I think it is the way they display the animals in the park that make it so unique. It is a most natural open habitat for each distinctive species of animal.  Each year the Brookfield zoo hosts Holiday Magic with Carolers, Ice Carvers and fun for the whole family. It is held between the last two weeks of December. 2006 marks the 25^th year.

Cicero Real Estate  The most important thing to know about Cicero is it is nothing like the 1920´s gangland heyday atmosphere it once was. The little town has grownup and currently is home to primarily Hispanic residence. The total population is 109,429 so it is a bit larger then Brookfield. It is located just seven miles west of the loop and is the town nearest to downtown Chicago. Cicero was the first small town to connect to Chicago via the railroad in 1848. Because of its location on several of the rail systems, manufacturers set up shop in Cicero and the community became home to the many workers and their families. The town is in the process of re-development to make its residence proud. Expect a new soccer field and 2 baseball fields as well as a new business park.

Austin Real Estate is west of downtown Chicago and borders Oak Park. It is one of the largest suburbs and has a population of 117,527 as of 2000. Neighborhoods in Austin include Midway Park, Galewood, and The Island. The residential homes are on wide streets with sidewalks and green belts. Austin is predominantly African American with a median income of $34,000. The city has recently done an extensive re-paving project, resurfacing more then half of the city´s streets. Both the Austin Community High School and the Austin O. Sexton Elementary School are part of the Chicago Public Schools.
