This quiet tree-lined neighborhood sits on 3.07 square miles. There are awesome historical buildings nearby surrounding the Village of Brookfield. It is most likely the most visited neighborhood as it is home to the famous Brookfield Zoo. The zoo originally opened to the public in 1934 and has regenerated itself a number of times. I think it is the way they display the animals in the park that make it so unique. It is a most natural open habitat for each distinctive species of animal.  Each year the Brookfield zoo hosts Holiday Magic with Carolers, Ice Carvers and fun for the whole family.
